Scripture
Confessional Lutherans recognize the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God, and the final authority in all matters of doctrine and practice. For more information on the relationship between confessional subscription and the doctrine of sola scriptura ("Scripture alone"), visit our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
The following excepts from Holy Scripture pertain especially to the Mission and Vision of The Hausvater Project.

Genesis 49:22-25
[22] Joseph is a fruitful vine, a fruitful vine near a spring, whose branches climb over a wall. [23] With bitterness archers attacked him; they shot at him with hostility. [24] But his bow remained steady, his strong arms stayed limber, because of the hand of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel, [25] because of your father's God, who helps you, because of the Almighty, who blesses you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings of the deep that lies below, blessings of the breast and womb.
Exodus 1:17
The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live.
Leviticus 18:22, 20:13
[18:22] Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. [20:13] If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
